Why fundraise for FERNZ

We all experience inequity differently — and too often, the people most affected are the least heard. That’s why FERNZ exists.

FERNZ is a fresh, independent, kaupapa Māori-led charity grounded in Te Tiriti o Waitangi. We work alongside communities across Aotearoa to identify inequities, monitor human rights, and drive systemic change. Our work is led by people with lived experience, ensuring community voices remain at the centre of everything we do.

Through community-led action and advocacy, FERNZ supports people to have a voice, build leadership, and influence the systems that shape their lives. We partner with Māori, Pacifica, Disabled, Rainbow communities and children to ensure inequities are not just acknowledged, but addressed.

By fundraising for FERNZ at Round the Bays, you’re standing behind lived experience and helping drive lasting change.

Join us. Set up your fundraiser, take part in Round the Bays, and help turn every step into impact.
