Formally established in early 2024, the FERNZ Porirua Community Action Group (CAG) is dedicated to identifying and addressing equity-based issues within the Porirua community. Our goal is to use our collective voice to drive meaningful change and create a more inclusive city.
We meet monthly at Pataka, a welcoming and relaxed environment where members come together to discuss community issues, plan actions, and work on solutions. Since our formation, we’ve made significant progress and are actively working on several important initiatives.
The FERNZ Porirua CAG remains focused on fostering equity and accessibility across the community. We’re proud of our accomplishments and look forward to continuing to advocate for positive change in Porirua.
At FERNZ Porirua Community Action Group (CAG), our meetings are more than just work sessions—they’re an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and make a real difference.
We meet monthly at Pataka, a welcoming space where we discuss equity-based issues, plan practical actions, and work together to find meaningful solutions. Our gatherings also include time for laughter and afternoon tea, fostering a positive, supportive, and cohesive group dynamic.
Whether you're passionate about advocating for inclusivity, improving accessibility, or simply looking to join a group that genuinely cares, our meetings are the perfect opportunity to make your voice heard.
