The Kāpiti Community Action Group (CAG) is a disabled-led group supported by FERNZ, bringing together disabled people from across the Kāpiti Coast to build connection, share lived experience, and advocate for a more accessible and inclusive community.
Established in August 2024, the Kāpiti CAG balances advocacy with whakawhanaungatanga. Alongside meaningful discussions and action, we share kai, laughter, and conversation — building strong relationships that underpin our collective work. These connections strengthen members’ confidence, support leadership development, and create a united voice for change across the region.
