Our History:

FERNZ was founded in July, 2018 by Tristram and Bernadette Ingham.

FERNZ is a registered charitable organization under the Charitable Trusts Act 1957.

We are governed by our three trustees, who provide strategic oversight and ensure we are meeting our strategic goals.

We focus on addressing inequities that affect diverse communities, ensuring voices are heard and rights upheld.

Our initiatives have been, and continue to driven by a commitment to creating a fair and inclusive society, a society where everyone has the opportunity to thrive

We are a small, dedicated team committed to addressing inequity in Aotearoa.

FERNZ is committed to

A Better life, and a fairer society for all.

In 2023, our team grew with the addition of Pip and Taki. In December 2024, we expanded once more, welcoming Cheryl to the team.

Pip, Taki and Cheryl bring lived experience of inequity and are dedicated to our grassroots initiatives, working alongside communities to amplify their collective voices and advocate for change.
